Former Indian cricketer Saba Karim shared his views on the upcoming IPL Qualifier 2 clash between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Punjab Kings (PBKS), and the much-anticipated India tour of England. Karim believes that MI has a strong momentum heading into the match, making them a favorable pick for victory. He also commented on the potential of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) winning the IPL for the first time, which would be a great moment for RCB fans. Speaking at the Fit India ‘Sundays on Cycle’ initiative, Karim highlighted MI’s strong bowling attack and overall dominance. He contrasted this with PBKS’s recent loss to RCB. Furthermore, Karim discussed the upcoming England tour, suggesting that the young Indian team, under the leadership of Shubman Gill, has a great opportunity to perform well. He also praised the support BCCI is giving to young players like Vaibhav Suryavanshi. The tour will begin with the first Test at Leeds starting from June 20 and will be a test for the team’s mettle in the challenging English conditions.
