Arjun Tendulkar, son of the legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, recently got engaged to Sania Chandok. The engagement ceremony, held on Wednesday, was attended by close family members and friends. Sania is the granddaughter of Mumbai-based businessman Ravi Ghai, whose family is well-known in the hotel and food industry. Ghai’s family owns the InterContinental Hotel and the popular ice cream brand Brooklyn Creamery. Sania herself is a partner and director at Mr. Paws Pet Spa & Store in Mumbai. She has 805 followers on Instagram and is followed by Arjun’s sister, Sara Tendulkar.
Arjun is a left-arm medium-pace bowler who plays for Goa in domestic cricket. He has played 17 first-class matches, 18 List A matches, and 24 T20 matches. He has 37 wickets in Test cricket, 25 wickets in List A, and 27 wickets in T20s. He has also contributed with the bat, scoring 532 runs in first-class cricket and 102 runs in List A.
Arjun Tendulkar’s Cricket Career: Arjun made his Ranji Trophy debut for Goa against Rajasthan on December 13, 2022, in Porvorim. He scored 120 runs off 207 balls, batting at number seven in the first innings. He took his first IPL wicket on April 18, 2023, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. In a match between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad, he dismissed Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the 20th over. The catch was taken by Rohit Sharma. In his third IPL match for Mumbai Indians, Arjun dismissed Prabhsimran Singh but conceded 48 runs in three overs. He was purchased by Mumbai Indians for 30 lakh rupees in the IPL 2025 mega auction but didn’t get a chance to play any matches for the team captained by Hardik Pandya this season.
