Rain prevented the Hubli Tigers from securing their second Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 title. While the team won the title in 2023, their hopes were dashed this time due to the weather. In the final match played at the Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar Stadium in Mysore, Mangaluru Dragons, captained by Shreyas, defeated Devdutt Padikkal’s Hubli Tigers by 14 runs using the VJD method. At the time the game was stopped due to rain, Mangaluru Dragons had scored 85 runs for two wickets in 10.4 overs, leading by 15 runs. Sharat BR and Sachin Shinde played crucial roles in Mangaluru Dragons’ victory. This is the first time Mangaluru Dragons has won the title.
