Smriti Mandhana continues her stellar performance, retaining the coveted No. 1 spot in the latest ICC Women’s ODI Batting Rankings. Her exceptional scores of 109 against New Zealand and a commanding 34 not out against Bangladesh in the ongoing ICC Women’s ODI World Cup have propelled her to a career-best rating of 828. This significant achievement places her almost 100 points ahead of her closest competitor, Australia’s Ashleigh Gardner, who has climbed to second with 731 points following her unbeaten century against England. Mandhana’s form has been exceptional throughout the tournament, building on her success as the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for September 2025. Other players making notable gains include South African captain Laura Wolvaardt, who rises to third with her impressive innings. England’s Amy Jones has entered the top 10, now at ninth, and Annabel Sutherland has made a significant leap to 16th. Young Indian batter Pratika Rawal, despite an injury setback, has moved into the top 30. In the bowling rankings, Sophie Ecclestone remains at the top, with Australia’s Alana King emerging as a strong contender in second place after a remarkable seven-wicket haul. King’s performance has earned her a career-high rating and a five-place jump. Nashra Sundhu of Pakistan has also climbed into the top 10. All-rounders have also seen shifts, with Ashleigh Gardner solidifying her No. 1 position, and Marizanne Kapp moving into second place.
