In a high‑scoring encounter at New Delhi on August 28, South Delhi Superstars Women amassed 179 runs with the loss of six wickets, setting a formidable target for East Delhi Riders Women. The Riders could only manage 119 runs, resulting in a 60‑run defeat for the side.

The innings was anchored by captain Shweta Sahrawat’s unbeaten 75, a blitz of eight fours and four sixes across 36 balls. Tanisha Singh added a quickfire 40, while Nishika Singh contributed 29 runs, both playing crucial roles in building the total. The lower order chipped in with minor yet important contributions from Taniska (10) and Ekta Bhadana (8).

Parunika Sisodia shone for the Riders, taking two wickets for 23 runs, but the rest of the bowling attack could not contain the Superstars. When the chase began, Simran Bahadur led with 25 runs from 20 balls, and Prema Sivach matched her effort with 25 off 19 balls. Pragya Rawat’s 20 runs were not enough to spark a late surge.
