Transport and medical support streamlined for Indian shooters and staff

Shooting athletes heading to Nagoya will benefit from a dedicated transport network arranged by the Sports Authority of India. Shuttle buses will run on a fixed schedule, linking shooting ranges with the athletes’ village and training centres. This ensures that competitors can move swiftly between practice sessions and competition bouts without delay.

In parallel, SAI has commissioned a fleet of medical vehicles equipped with first‑aid kits and staffed by qualified sports physicians. These ambulances will be on standby at all shooting venues, ready to respond instantly to any health issue or injury. The prompt medical response is expected to minimise interruptions to athletes’ preparation and competition routines.

Coaches and ancillary staff who were previously excluded due to committee limitations are now integrated into the transport plan. Their inclusion guarantees that the entire support team can accompany shooters throughout the event, providing tactical advice and emotional encouragement.
