UAE and Turkey Repeat as ICC Female Cricket Initiative Winners

For the second consecutive year, the Emirates Cricket Board and the Turkish Cricket Federation were named ICC Female Cricket Initiative of the Year. The accolade recognizes the board’s role in extending the legacy of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 through programmes such as the Inter‑School Cricio Gulf Cup and the Get Into Cricket – Girls Only initiative. These projects have reached schools and communities where girls previously had limited sporting options.
