A video of Anaya Bangar, daughter of former Indian cricketer and coach Sanjay Bangar, interacting with Virat Kohli has gone viral on social media. In the video, Kohli is seen giving batting tips to a young person, who is revealed to be Anaya Bangar. She has since undergone a gender change and is now a woman. Bangar shared the video on social media with the caption, “A child was listening to tips from Virat at that time. Today I am fighting for my chance in the Indian women’s team. Some dreams never change.” Bangar has expressed her love for cricket and has shared several videos of her practicing batting on her social media account. She has always admired Virat Kohli and has revealed in an interview that she met Kohli many times when her father was the coach of the Indian team. She also mentioned that while Kohli was often joking, he became completely serious and focused on his game during batting practice.
Initially known as Aryan Bangar, she was recognized as Sanjay Bangar’s son, who played cricket as a left-handed batsman and a left-arm spinner. However, she recently underwent a gender transplant and is now known as Anaya Bangar.
