The stampede resulted in the deaths of eleven people and injuries to several others. An FIR has been registered against RCB, the event management company, and the Karnataka State Cricket Association. The authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the incident, including the lack of adequate communication about the celebration from the RCB organization. Several senior police officers have been suspended, and a judicial commission is currently investigating the matter.
