    A complaint has been filed against star cricketer Virat Kohli in the RCB’s Victory Parade case on June 4 outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. This complaint has been lodged at Kabban Park Police Station. Senior social activist HM Venkatesh has filed a complaint against the former captain of the Indian men’s team. They have received assurance from the police that the letter will be considered and an FIR has already been registered regarding the stampede.

    Let us know that on Tuesday 3 June, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Punjab Kings in the final of IPL 2025 played in Ahmedabad and thus won the IPL title for the first time. Since this victory, there was an atmosphere of celebration in the whole of Bengaluru. Then the next day when the entire team returned from Ahmedabad with Trophy, there was a wonderful situation in Bengaluru and there was a huge crowd of fans on the streets. During this time, the Karnataka government celebrated the team’s victory near the Legislative Assembly and then the entire team went to the Chinnaswamy Stadium, where there was already a huge number of fans. But after some time this celebration turned into mourning.

    There was a stampede outside the stadium, killing 11 people, while about 50 fans were injured. Since then, there has been a ruckus in the whole country. The Karnataka government has blamed the RCB management, Karnataka Cricket Association and event management company DNA for this, after which the Kabban Park Police arrested 4 people by registering an FIR against them. But in the midst of all this, a local person named HM Venkatesh has also demanded to register an FIR against the team’s star batsman Virat Kohli. Venkatesh has lodged a complaint with this demand at Kabban Park Station. Police have said that they will consider the complaint already in the complaint lodged.

    Earlier, the police arrested Nikhil Sosh on the morning of Friday 6 June. Nikhil is the marketing and revenue heads of Nikhil Sosh Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

    RCB said- will follow the law

    Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), who became the champion of IPL 2025, is now in controversy. Police had registered a case against RCB, Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) and DNA Entertainment Network (Event Management Company) in the case of death of 11 people in a stampede outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Sections 105, 125 (1) (2), 132, 121/1, 190 R/W3 (5) have been imposed in the FIR lodged by the police. The franchise source said in this whole case- we cannot comment on legal matters at this time, but will give full support in every process of the government and the court.

    Responsibility fixed, 8 officers including police commissioner suspended

    Let me tell you that on the orders of the CM, deciding the responsibility of this accident, 8 officers including the police commissioner of Bengaluru have suspended. At the same time, it is also discussed that the government can hand over the investigation of the case to the CID. The suspended officers include Additional Police Commissioner, Kabban Park Police Station in -charge, ACP, DCP Central Division, Cricket Stadium Incharge, Station House Master, Station House Officer. Frontier Kumar Singh has been made the new Police Commissioner of Bangalore. He has taken charge on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday.

    Retired judges are investigating the case

    CM Siddaramaiah said- A member inquiry commission has been set up under the chairmanship of Retired High Court Judge Michael D’Kunha to investigate the case. The commission will submit its report in 30 days. Those who were responsible for organizing this program of RCB will also be processed. Officers of event management agency DNA, KSCA will be arrested. The Karnataka police have imposed non-Irradan homicide, voluntarily hurting and public disturbances. Police said- they organized without approval.
