The Indian women’s cricket team is currently playing a three-match ODI series against Australia at home. The series is currently tied at 1-1. The third and final match of the series will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Team India will be playing in a new jersey for this match. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared this information on social media. There is a special reason behind changing the jersey color. The Indian women’s cricket team will wear a pink jersey against Australia at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Saturday, September 20th. This decision was made by Team India to promote breast cancer awareness. The BCCI confirmed this initiative by sharing a video on its social media handle, in which captain Harmanpreet Kaur, Pratik Rawal and Sneha Rana were seen wearing pink jerseys. The BCCI wrote in the caption of the post, ‘To promote breast cancer awareness, Team India will wear special pink jerseys in the third ODI today.’
