India’s female pugilists shone on Saturday. Preeti Pawar captured gold in the 54 kg division by defeating Canada’s Scarlett Delgado, while Jasmine Lumboria won the 57 kg title against Northern Ireland’s Mikela Walsh. Sakshi secured gold at 51 kg, Priya Ghanghas added another gold at 57 kg, and Arundhati Chaudhary took gold in the 70 kg class. Lovlina Borgohain earned silver in the 75 kg category.
