Young Football and Tennis Stars Compete Across Age Groups in Jaipur

More than 1,600 students representing 90 schools gathered in Jaipur this week for the ISSO Football and Tennis Games, marking a significant milestone in school‑level sport in India. The six‑day event, held at Jai Shri Periwal International School, hosted athletes from over 25 cities.

The football segment featured Under‑19 girls and Under‑17 boys matches, while the tennis bracket offered Under‑14, Under‑17 and Under‑19 competitions for both genders. Notable participating institutions included Dhruvbhai Ambani International School, Oberoi International School, Adani International School, Singapore International School and the host school itself.

As the tournament entered its concluding stages, teams faced a rigorous timetable, providing ample opportunity for skill development and tactical growth. The gathering also served as a networking hub, allowing youngsters to meet peers from different parts of the country and share experiences beyond the classroom.
