Manoj Yadav, Korba. Voting is going on in 10 urban bodies of Chhattisgarh. Voters are reaching the polling station to exercise their franchise with great enthusiasm. In many places, the voters faced problems due to technical flaw in the EVM machine, although the polling started again after the system was repaired. But the EVM (electronic voting machine) has been damaged four times since morning at Ward No. 13 Veer Savarkar Bhavan of Deepka Municipality of Korba district, which has been revived. Due to which voters have been disturbed.
It is being told that due to EVM malfunction, there was a lot of time in voting. Especially for the municipal president, the councilor’s button is stopping pressing the button, due to which the voters are having problems in choosing the candidate of their choice. After the incident, the concerned officials reached the spot and corrected the machine, after which the polling process started again.
Let us know that in Chhattisgarh, voting for urban body elections is being done today, the results of which will be declared on February 15.
