Chhattisgarh Handicrafts Development Board is going on 15 days summer training in the Chhattisgarh Haat complex, Pandri, located in the capital Raipur. For the wide publicity of handicraft art, 15 days summer training is being given by Chhattisgarh Handicrafts Development Board from 28th April. This training is being done with the joint coordination of Handicrafts Development Board and Chhattisgarh Mati Kala Vikas Board. This training was inaugurated by Shri Balam Chakradhari, Chairman of Matikala Development Board and Shri Sudhakar Khalkho, Managing Director of Chhattisgarh Handicrafts Development Board and Chhattisgarh Matikala Board. It is noteworthy that the Minister of Village Industries, Guru Rudrakumar has given instructions to the officers to give wide publicity to the village industries. In compliance with which 15 days summer training is being organized in tattoo craft, terracotta craft and embroidery craft. In this first phase of short-term training, 18 girls participated in tattooing craft, 13 in embroidery craft and 37 girls in terracotta craft. It is noteworthy that during this training program, 13 children of the orphanage are being given free training. General Manager, Chhattisgarh Handicrafts Development Board, Shri Shankar Lal Dhurve informed that discussions have been held in the government schools of the city so that maximum number of people can get the benefit of such summer training.
