Abhishek Semar, Takhatpur. The family is in mourning after an eight-year-old girl died due to snake bite. Last night the girl was sleeping at home. When her health suddenly deteriorated, the family admitted her to Takhatpur Community Health Center, where the doctor declared her dead after preliminary examination.
According to the information received from the police, the deceased Manvi Jangde, aged eight years, lived in village Jarondha. Like every day, she was sleeping with her elder sister after having dinner. Suddenly her health started deteriorating at night. The family hurriedly brought her to Takhatpur Community Health Center for treatment, where the doctor declared her dead after preliminary examination.
By the time the family of the deceased came to know, it was too late. The elder sister of the deceased, who was sleeping with her, saw the poisonous snake and informed the family about it. Due to the bite of the poisonous snake, the poison spread completely in the body of the minor, due to which she died on the way to the hospital. As soon as the information of the case was received, Takhatpur police sent the body to the mortuary for postmortem after doing Panchnama proceedings. Police is engaged in further investigation.
