The children studying in the tribal areas of the state have performed brilliantly in the All India Medical Entrance Examination 2021, due to which the dream of becoming a doctor is being realized by the tribal children. Nine students of Eklavya Adarsh Residential School established in remote areas of the state have been selected for MBBS studies this year. Tribal Welfare Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam has congratulated all the successful students and wished them a bright future. Successful students in NEET 2021 have 5 girls from Eklavya Model School Katekalyan District South Bastar Dantewada, Eklavya Model Residential School, Taregaon Jungle District Two students of Kabirdham, Eklavya Adarsh Residential School, Chhote Mudpar Kharsia include two students from District Raigad. All these students belong to rural background and farming family. 5 girl students of Eklavya Adarsh Vidyalaya Katekalyan District South Bastar Dantewada have prepared for MBBS entrance examination from Cholo Aasam Coaching Institute operated in Dantewada district. Out of these, Kumari Piyusha Wake of village Badepaneda in Geedam tehsil will study medicine at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial College, Raipur. Similarly, Ramshila Wake of Badepaneda village of Geedam tehsil will also study medicine at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial College, Raipur. Indu Kodopi, a resident of village Sameli in Kuakonda tehsil, will study medicine at Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Science, Bilaspur. Madma Mede of village Borje of Bijapur tehsil has also been selected for medical studies in Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Science, Bilaspur. Salvam Pale, Naxal affected area of Konta tehsil of Fandiguda, will study medicine in Raipur Government Dental College, Raipur. Similarly, Shri Raghunandan Dhurve of Eklavya Adarsh Residential School, Taregaon Jungle District Kabirdham will study medicine in Government Medical College, Bilaspur. Shri Digvijay Singh Masram of the same school will study medicine at Government Medical College, Kanker. Eklavya Adarsh Residential School, Chhote Mudpar will study medicine at Tribhuvan Sidar Government Medical College Ambikapur in Kharsia district Raigad.
