The district administration in Pendra has taken stern action regarding the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), a housing scheme. Secretary Rajkumar Sharma of Tendumuda Gram Panchayat has been suspended due to negligence and lack of diligence in the scheme’s execution. Furthermore, a show cause notice has been issued to Jyoti Kashyap, the employment assistant of the same panchayat. Instructions have also been issued to immediately transfer the secretary of Thadpathra Gram Panchayat to another location. The actions were taken under the direction of District Panchayat CEO Surendra Prasad Vaidh, who has made it clear that negligence in government schemes will not be tolerated at any level. He has warned all panchayat staff that strict action will continue against those who obstruct the implementation of the crucial PMAY.
