In view of the danger and risk to the health of humans and animals, the use of glyphosate has been banned through a notification issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, New Delhi on October 21. The abbreviation of the notification by the government has been given as Restriction Order 2022 on the use of glyphosate. According to which no person except Pest Control Operators shall use glyphosate from the date of last publication in the Official Gazette. The Deputy Director of Agriculture Department, Raipur said that the holder of the registration certificate of glyphosate, the registration certificate which has been given for glyphosate and its derivatives.
