According to the instructions of Collector Dr. Priyanka Shukla, Suraji campaign will be run in the district from October 28 to December 31, in which cases of caste certificate, ration card and social security pension will be prepared for all the eligible persons of the district. For this, responsibilities have been assigned to various departments and Joint Collector Manish Mishra has been made the nodal officer. Application forms will be taken for making caste certificate, documents will be compiled and door-to-door survey will also be done. During the survey, after identifying the eligible persons, a resolution will be passed in the Gram Sabha. Students studying in schools, whose caste certificate has not been made, their information will be made available to the survey team by the education department and the admission register will also be made available. The received applications will be uploaded through CSC. During the campaign, elderly people of the village will be identified and if they are eligible, their pension case will be prepared. Cases will also be made for handicapped persons. Ration card will also be made for the persons identified during the survey. For the successful implementation of Suraji Abhiyan, training will be given to the officers and employees at the tehsil level from October 19 to 21 and door-to-door survey will be conducted from October 28 to November 10 and after the survey, the list will be tested from November 12 to November 16 and Special Gram Sabha will be organized from November 21 to 23. Applications for various certificates will be received from November 25 to December 05 and after examining the applications received, certificates will be made from December 06 to December 20 and certificates will be distributed from December 21 to 25. Action on the missed applications will be ensured by December 31 and the report will be submitted. Collector Dr. Priyanka Shukla has given necessary directions in this regard to the Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat, all Revenue Officers, Education Officer, Food Officer, Chief Executive Officer of Janpad Panchayats and Deputy Director of Social Welfare Department.
