Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that it was not my intention to become the Chief Minister. Public service is my aim. Due to which I came into public life. Service is the biggest religion. I believe that we should all be ready to serve the people. The Chief Minister said these things in response to a question asked by Seema Gupta, a class 12th student, during a meeting at village Rajpur in Sitapur assembly constituency. During the discussion with the Chief Minister, Seema Gupta had asked that how did you become the Chief Minister, why did you not do a government job? On this, the Chief Minister said that his family has sufficient agricultural land. Father did not want him to do government job. Although he taught both the sisters well. They are both engineers. I was interested in agriculture since childhood. While living in the village, first became the Panch, then became the district president of the party and then the MLA, minister in undivided Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and now I am the Chief Minister. He informed that many public welfare schemes are being run by the state government. In which schemes like Rajiv Gandhi Rural Landless Agricultural Mazdoor Nyay Yojana, purchase of paddy on support price, Half Electricity Bill Scheme, Swami Atmanand English Medium School, Haat Bazar Clinic Scheme, City Slum Health Scheme, Dung Purchase have become popular among the public.
