A delegation of sarpanches and farmers of Belatara constituency, led by Shri Satyendra Kaushik, met courtesy of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office here today. The delegation thanked the Chief Minister for the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana’ launched in the interest of farmers in the state of Chhattisgarh. The delegation handed over a check of 82 thousand 650 rupees to the Chief Minister’s aid fund to help the needy people. The Chief Minister thanked the farmers and sarpanches of Beltara region for this cooperation. The Chief Minister discussed with the farmers about the preparation of the kharif and asked to make arrangements for restraining of the open grazing animals to keep the crops safe. The Chief Minister said that for better crop production and perennial farming, stopping of animals is necessary. The purpose of building Gothan in villages is to prevent the grazing of animals in the open, to conserve and promote animals. On this occasion, Shri Ramkumar Bhoi, Virendra Gauraha, Kapil Sahu, Jagat Soni, Manish Sengar, Sadan Singh and others were present.
