Start of training in new trades like 3D printing and robotics in polytechnic colleges and ITIs of Chhattisgarh and use of state-of-the-art technology for processing and value addition of agricultural produce and minor forest produce in Rural Industrial Park being developed at Gauthan in Chhattisgarh Regarding this, discussions were held in the meeting of officials of Tata Technologies with Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. In a meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel in his office room in the Vidhan Sabha, along with the officials of Tata Technologies such as connecting Gauthans with ITIs, value addition of products being manufactured in Gauthans and connecting them with C-Mart for sale of products. Topics were discussed. Apart from this, cooperation in the work of branding and marketing of finished products in Rural Industrial Park was also discussed. Tata Technologies officials told through a presentation in the meeting that along with starting trade in polytechnics and ITIs according to the need of modern industries, these institutions would have arrangements for training teachers. It was informed in the meeting that the infrastructure developed by Tata Technologies can be used by the local industries as per the requirement along with the training of children. Tata Technologies will also work with Krishi Vigyan Kendra for processing and value addition of agricultural produce. The Agriculture Research and Innovation Center was also discussed in the meeting. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel told the officials of Tata Technologies that Gauthans established in villages of Chhattisgarh are being developed as Rural Industrial Parks. A provision of Rs 600 crore has been made for this. In each block, two Gauthans are being developed as Rural Industrial Parks. Cottage industries are being set up in these parks, processing of local raw materials and value addition products are being made. Arrangements have been made for sale of finished products through C-Mart. Efforts are also being made to get these products national and international market. The Chief Minister said that there is a provision of electricity, water and land in the Gauthans. One to two acres of Gothan’s land has been earmarked for Rural Industrial Park. Industries set up in the Rural Industrial Park to be built here will be given 50 percent rebate in electricity bill. The Chief Minister informed the officials of Tata Technologies that two-year combined courses of ITI with Higher Secondary have been started in 116 schools of Chhattisgarh. Both these courses start from class XI. Students who have passed class XII will be given a certificate of class XII board and ITI together. The employment opportunities of the students will increase due to the introduction of trades useful for modern industries here.
