The Kanger Valley Bird Survey work for the first time in Kanger Valley National Park, Jagdalpur, which is full of biodiversity and famous for its natural beauty, has started from today. In this valley, which is considered a favorable place for birds to live, the work of bird survey will be done by Kanger Valley National Park in collaboration with Bird Count India and Bird and Wildlife of Chhattisgarh from 25 November to 27 November 2022. Kanger Valley National Park Director said that 56 bird experts from 11 states of the country have been selected in this survey. This will help in the management of the national park and new dimensions of bird watching will be included in eco-tourism. In the Kanger Valley National Park, the efforts of the experts to understand the relation of the birds found in different landscapes of the country to the Kanger Valley and their habitat are time- being done on time. Birds found in India’s Western Ghats and Eastern Himalayas have also been seen here. Today participants from Chhattisgarh Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Kerala, West Bengal, Odisha, Rajasthan reached Forest Training School to participate in this bird survey. These bird experts will now do bird survey work till November 27 in different trails of Kanger valley. For 03 days, he will inspect different bird habitats of Kanger Valley and survey the birds found here.
