Laxmikant Bansod, Balod. Dallirajhara police has arrested a youth accused of raping a minor. It is being told that the accused stopped the minor on her way to dance, coaxed her and took her with him and forcibly raped her. The police have registered an FIR against the accused under several sections including the POCSO Act and sent him to judicial remand.
According to the information, on the complaint of the minor’s family, Dallirajhara police had registered a case against the accused under sections 363, 366A, 376 POCSO Act. Whose police traced the accused and arrested him.
The name of the accused is Vidya Sagar Sahu (age 20 years), father is Kewal Ram Sahu, who is a resident of Bhangoli Para of Dallirajhara ward number 15. The police have sent the accused to jail on judicial remand.
