The two-day festival of Sirpur Mahotsav concluded with a colorful program today in the chief guest of the Minister in charge of Mahasamund district and the Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu. At the conclusion of Sirpur Mahotsav, Panthi dance by local artists of Jai Satnam Panthi Party of Pachri, Jai Gaura Gauri Sua dance by the artists of Nandbaru Sirpur, Karma dance by Fuljharia Karma Party of Village Bilkhand, Basna, Drama by Disha Natya Manch of Mahasamund, Odissi solo dance was performed by Arya Nande and an enthralling performance by Anuj Sharma Knight. Collector Shri Nilesh Kumar Kshirsagar, Superintendent of Police Shri Vivek Shukla, CEO District Panchayat Shri S. Alok welcomed the chief guest. Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, while addressing the concluding ceremony with the gusto of the chief guest, said that Sirpur Festival is a triveni confluence of cultures. Chhattisgarh has a glorious history of folk art and culture. This is the reason why Sirpur is becoming the first choice of tourists on the world tourism scene. He said that the purpose of organizing the festival is to make the youth aware and publicity apart from saving different cultures and their traditions. The Home Minister said that as per the intention of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, tourism places would be developed a lot in the state. Its tourism policy has been prepared. Work is also being done to add it to the Buddhist circuit for tourism development. The feet of Lord Shri Ram are found in Sirpur. Ramgaman path is being developed here. Sirpur Mahotsav will be celebrated with more grandeur in the coming times. Minister Shri Sahu congratulated the district administration for organizing the event. On this occasion, Home Minister Shri Sahu also honored the artists. On the concluding occasion, MLA and Vice-Chairman Scheduled Caste Development Authority Mr. Qismatlal Nand also addressed. District Panchayat President Smt.
