To keep people away from drugs, work has to be done to improve their family situation and mental state. The state government is committed to wean the people of Chhattisgarh away from drugs. Bharat Vahini and nodal officers being prepared in all the districts will have to work fast in this direction. Which will definitely bring positive results in the coming days. It is noteworthy that under the Chhattisgarh Liquor Addiction Mukti Abhiyan (Bharat Mata Vahini Yojna), an 8-member group is being prepared in each gram panchayat and dependent village in the form of Bharat Mata Vahini to curb the tendency to drink. In the first phase, more than 1400 Bharat Mata Vahini is being prepared in 10 Panchayats of every Janpad Panchayat with the value of 10 Vahinis. Through these efforts will be made to create a positive environment in every village against the social evil of drugs. There is a plan to run a 15-bed de-addiction center in every district for drug addicts. Mrs. Bhendia said that drug addiction is not a personal problem but a social problem. Many types of diseases are caused by excessive intoxication. Due to lack of mental control in drunkenness, criminal tendencies also increase. To save the state and the country from this problem, everyone has to make a collective effort, it will have to start with the villages and panchayats. In the training organized by the Social Welfare Department, the subject experts gave guidance to the nodal officers of various departments and explained in detail about the scheme for the success of the campaign. Departmental Deputy Secretary Shri Rajesh Tiwari said that in order to create a drug-free society, the problem will have to be solved by finding the root cause of it. For this, data collection, analysis and action plan will have to be prepared based on it. Women empowerment, prevention of illicit liquor and social mobility will have to be increased through Panchayati Raj Institutions and Bharat Mata Vahini.
