Sakti/Durg. Two major accidents occurred on Sunday in Sakti and Durg districts of Chhattisgarh. In Sakti, a young man riding a bike was killed and two were injured after hitting a tree. At the same time, there was chaos in a fire filled with paddy in the fort. In time, firefighters controlled the fire, which averted a big accident.
One killed in road accident, two injured
Three youth riding a bike fell victim to a road accident in village Malda of Hasaud police station area. One youth died in the incident, while two others were seriously injured. According to the information, on the way, his bike collided with a tree on the roadside, due to which a young man died on the spot.
At the same time, the other two youths were sent to Jajapur Community Health Center in an injured state, where they are being treated. On receiving the information of the accident, the local police reached the spot and started investigating the case. The three youths are residents of village Ringni in Janjgir district and they were going to Chandrapur to see mother Chandrahasini.
Fierce fire in truck
A major accident occurred on Sunday in the Utai police station area of Durg, where a truck filled with paddy caught fire in front of the CISF battalion. In this fierce fire, the cabin of the truck was completely gutted, as well as many sacks filled with paddy were also burnt. The truck driver and conductor saved their lives by jumping in time. The driver said that he was carrying rice mill at Gundradehi by loading paddy from the procurement center. The name of the truck owner is being described as Rimpal Singh. District Fire Officer Nageshwar Kumar said that the team of fire personnel reached the spot as soon as the fire was reported. The fire was controlled after about 2 hours of effort. During this time a fire vehicle water was used. Due to the overcrowding of the fire in time, a big accident was averted.
