Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today attended the Gita Jayanti and annual conference program organized by District Kosaria Raut Yadav Mahasabha at Late Saryu Prasad Agarwal Stadium, District Headquarters Balod. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced Rs. 25 lakh for the building of Yadav Samaj in village Jungera, open gym at Balod and construction of a garden in the water tank complex. On reaching the conference, the Chief Minister was accorded a warm welcome by the Kosaria Raut Yadav community by wearing a khumri. The Chief Minister congratulated and congratulated the Kosariya Raut Yadav community for organizing a dignified program. Addressing the conference, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that for the protection and promotion of livestock, the Chhattisgarh government is buying cow dung for Rs. So far, in lieu of purchase of cow dung, Rs 116 crore has been transferred to the accounts of cattle rearers and cow pals. He said that those who do not have land do not have cows. They are also getting profit by selling cow dung. The Chief Minister said that many people of our Raut community have become lakhpatis by selling cow dung of Daihan. The Chief Minister said that paddy is being procured from farmers in the state on support price. So far more than 13 lakh farmers of the state have sold paddy. About fifty lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been procured. Regular payment of paddy amount is also being made to the farmers. The Chief Minister said that the government is working for the development of all sections of the society. Sanjari-Balod MLA Smt. Sangeeta Sinha also addressed the conference. On this occasion Parliamentary Secretary and Gundardehi MLA Mr. Kunwar Singh Nishad, President of Municipal Council Balod Mr. Vikas Chopra, President of District Kosaria Raut Yadav Samaj, Mr. Chandrahas Yadav along with office bearers of the society, dignitaries and a large number of people of the society were present.
