Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated the Tifra Flyover Bridge constructed at a cost of more than 107 crores in Bilaspur by cutting the ribbon. This bridge connecting Raipur road with Bilaspur city will bring relief to the residents as well as all the passers-by who are on NH. 130 is used for commuting. The need for an organized and wide flyover bridge at the Tifra railway crossing was felt for a long time on the Bilaspur-Raipur route. The Tifra Fly Over Bridge in a length of 1620 meters from Tifra end to Late Jamuna Prasad Verma College has been constructed by the Urban Administration and Development Department. An over bridge was constructed on this railway crossing earlier also, but due to the square in front of the bridge and the width of the bridge being small, there was a traffic jam around the square and in the bridge. With the newly constructed Tifra flyover, the residents of the city will get rid of the congestion and the problem of jamming at the Chowk will also be reduced.
