State Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel attended the Rajiv Mitan Club member and Mahila Shakti Sammelan organized at Charama, Tehsil Headquarters of Kanker district today. On this occasion, he inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth Rs.183 crore 06 lakh, out of which 35 development works worth Rs.64 crore 22 lakh and 40 works worth Rs.118 crore 84 lakh were inaugurated. On this occasion, he announced the grant of sub-tehsil status to Lakhanpuri. In the program of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Rs. 02 crore 80 lakh for construction of 14 nos. of compost godown building in Bhanupratappur, Durgukondal and Charama development blocks and 62 Devguri in these three development blocks. Rs.03 crore 41 lakh for construction and Rs.02 crore 64 lakh for construction of 24 Ghotul, Rs one crore 25 lakh for construction of 25 theatre, Rs.03 crore 65 lakh for construction of 73 community buildings and for renovation and beautification of Sarar pond of Charama. Announced to sanction Rs one lakh and Rs 34 lakh for construction of CC road, platform and gate in Swami Atmanand English Medium School Charama. In the program, he handed over the keys of e-rickshaw for garbage collection and segregation to Ishwari self-help group and village Udkuda Jogi self-help group of village Tarasgaon in Charama development block. Nari Jagran women’s self-help group Gotitola and Annapurna women’s self-help group Kurrubhat were given a check of Rs. Addressing the Rajiv Mitan Club member and Mahila Shakti Sammelan, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that the state government is working seriously to provide all the basic facilities – roads, electricity, water, health, education etc. to the citizens. Hot food is being provided to children and mothers to remove malnutrition. Patients are getting treatment in Haat-bazaars under Mukhyamantri Haat-Bazaar Clinic Yojna, it started from Bastar division, which has been implemented across the state. The malaria-free Bastar campaign has also yielded fruitful results, due to which a significant reduction has been found in the cases of vomiting-diarrhoea, malaria. He said that Shree Dhanwantri Generic Medical Stores have been opened to provide branded medicines to the citizens at affordable rates. Special attention is also being given in the field of education. After Swami Atmanand English Medium School, now excellent Hindi medium schools are being opened in the districts. He said that establishment of medical college in Kanker is a big achievement, there will not be any shortage of doctors. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that our government is farmer friendly, farmers’ loans have been waived off, farmers should be given fair price for their produce. Used to be. The support price of Kodo-Kutki has also been declared at Rs.3,000 per quintal. Farmers are being benefitted under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Under the Godhan Nyay Yojana, cow dung is being purchased for Rs 2 a kg, other states of the country are also adopting this scheme. He said that vermi compost is being made from cow dung, which will become an alternative to chemical manure. A target has been set to prepare 20 lakh metric tonnes of vermi compost this year. Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that the farmers of Chhattisgarh have become financially strong due to the implementation of these schemes. He said that Rajiv Mitan Club is being provided assistance of one lakh rupees every year, through these clubs, the work of preserving culture will be done by organizing activities like sports, Teej-festivals, etc. Relevant information will also be given. Minister in-charge of Kanker district, Mrs. Anila Bhendia said that women and didis are doing good work in Chhattisgarh, and help is also being provided to them by the government for self-employment. He said that every person, youth of Chhattisgarh should be educated and take education and create work, so that there is no shortage of work for the coming generation. He said that many schemes are being run by the Chhattisgarh government, whose benefits are being given to the people. With the Mukhyamantri Haat-Bazaar Clinic scheme, the facility of treatment has reached the doorstep of the house. Medical college has also been established in Kanker district, which will benefit the residents.
