Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel attended the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected office bearers of Maa Manvli Mahasabha and World Tribal Day organized at Ravanabhata ground in Bhatapara town of Balodabazar district today. During this, the women of the society were welcomed by wearing khumri. In the conference, Mr. Baghel has announced to reserve 2 acres of land for tribal society in Patpar Bhatapara town and sanction Rs. 50 lakh for social building. Along with this, Chief Minister Shri Baghel has announced to rename Government High School Dantregi after Late Shri Santosh Dhruv and Government High School Tonatar after martyr Shri Dhananjay Verma. During this, Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Mineral Development Corporation Girish Devangan, former Rajya Sabha MP Smt. Chhaya Verma, Parliamentary Secretary and MLA Ms. Shakuntala Sahu, Scheduled Tribes Commission member Shri Ganesh Dhurav, Mandi President Shri Sushil Sharma , District Panchayat Vice President Smt. Sarita Thakur, District President Shri Hitendra Thakur, Shri Vidyabhushan Shukla, Shri Sunil Maheshwari, Samaj Pramukh Shri Banshilal Netam, Collector Shri Rajat Bansal, Superintendent of Police Shri Deepak Jha were present. Chief Minister Shri Baghel administered the oath to the newly elected office bearers. Addressing the gathering, Shri Bhupesh Baghel mentioned the work being done in the interest of tribals. He said that our government is trying to give recognition to the tribal culture and identity of Chhattisgarh. He said that we have given an opportunity to celebrate World Tribal Day by giving a holiday on 9th August. This year, we have provided a large number of government jobs to the educated young men and women of special backward tribes. Along with this, preparations are being made to recruit 10,000 teachers in the coming time. He further said that various schemes are being implemented to strengthen the economic condition of the food donors of the state. In which Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Rural Landless Agricultural Mazdoor Nyay Yojana are prominent. Swami Atmanand Excellent English Medium Schools have been opened in the state to provide education in English medium to the children. We have also increased its seats. This is such a government school in which there is enthusiasm among parents to educate their children. Now we are planning to run English medium colleges in higher education also. New sources of employment and income have started in the state with the Godhan scheme. who previously had no employment. They are making profit by selling cow dung. Vermi compost is being manufactured in Gothan. Godhan Nyay Yojana is being appreciated all over the country. The work of reviving the tradition of the village is being done by the government. We have now started buying cow urine at the rate of Rs 4 per litre. Everyone’s participation is essential for the implementation of the plans. Diseases can be avoided by using vermi compost for crop production in the fields. At present, the area under cultivation has increased and people’s tendency towards it has increased. Collector Shri Rajat Bansal praised for Badal Academy Chief Minister Shri Baghel during the program openly praised Badal Academy started in Bastar under the leadership of Collector Rajat Bansal. Bastar Academy of Dos, Art and Language, started in Jagdalpur for the preservation of the famous folk dance, local dialects, literature and craftsmanship in the form of tribal culture, has an important role.
