Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today performed bhoomi pujan of the proposed “Smart Reading Room” at Motibagh under Smart City Mission. To be built at a cost of about Rs 6.50 crore, this reading room will have a two-storey building with ground, in which more than 600 students will be able to study together. Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria presided over the Bhoomi Pujan program. As a special guest, Mr. Chairman of Home Construction Board Mr. Kuldeep Juneja, Mayor Mr. Ejaz Dhebar, MLA Mr. Satyanarayan Sharma, Ch. Yoga Commission Chairman Mr. Gyanesh Sharma, Municipal Corporation Chairman Mr. Pramod Dubey and other public representatives were also present. This smart reading room is being constructed by Raipur Smart City Limited to provide facilities to the students to study within the city. In this building, there will be a seating arrangement of about 600 people including Wi-Fi, lane, in which students will be able to study.
