Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel reached Karji village of Lundra in Surguja (Ambikapur) district on the seventh day of meeting today. He ate typical Sargujiya food cooked in the stove while sitting on the ground with the villagers of Karji. The Chief Minister reached the house of Shri Awadhesh Prajapati of village Karji and had food sitting on the ground with the villagers there. The Prajapati family served Chief Minister Mr. Baghel a typical Sargujia meal made on an earthen stove. He relished Chench Bhaji (Lakda) succulent vegetable, Urad dal ka Bara (big), Jawaphool rice, Arhar dal, Mango chutney and Papad. During this, the Chief Minister discussed the issues of the village including agriculture and agriculture with the villagers. He met the family members of Shri Prajapati and inquired about their well being and presented sarees to the women. On this occasion, Madhulika, the daughter of Shri Prajapati presented him a picture of him made with charcoal pencil by herself.
