Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel on the fourth day today in a meeting-meeting program at Latori in Bhatgaon assembly constituency of Surajpur district, besides granting full tehsil status to Bhatgaon tehsil, besides starting Swami Atmanand School in Batra village of Bhaiyathan, sub-division of RES in Bhaiyathan. Announced to set up office, start Agriculture Faculty in Higher Secondary School, Latori and to set up 33/11 KV power sub-station to overcome the problem of low voltage of electricity in the area. Chief Minister Shri Baghel did a surprise inspection of Latori Health Center. He expressed strong displeasure over non-maintenance of stock register and directed to suspend Medical Officer Mr. Rakesh Kumar Sao for negligence in work. The Chief Minister directed the Collector to issue show cause notices to BMO Dr. Prashant Singh and in-charge Mr. Shatrughan Bhagat. The Chief Minister met the patients at the health center and inquired about their well being and the medicines and health facilities available here. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel reached the District Co-operative Bank of Latori and handed over a Kisan Credit Card (KCC) loan check worth Rs. He inspected the bank and directed the officials that farmers should not face any problem here. The villagers thanked the Chief Minister for opening the bank. On this occasion, villagers praised the Chief Minister for the decisions taken in the interest of the farmers and presented him boiled sweet potato, gram, jaggery-murrah, groundnut, murra-laddu. The Chief Minister while thanking the villagers said that I will take this gift given by you with me. Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister, Aanchal Sahu, who came from Surajpur in the Jan Choupal of Latori, said that she would be able to study through ‘Mahatari Dular Yojna’. The Chief Minister interacted with the women of self-help groups who were taking sewing training here. On reaching Latori, the people’s representatives welcomed the Chief Minister by wearing a cotton garland. The Chief Minister accepted the greetings of the residents. The Chief Minister also intimately met the young children who came to welcome him. District in-charge and Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria, Parliamentary Secretary Shri Parasnath Rajwade were also present on the occasion. In which, along with the inauguration of a bridge built on the Rihand river on the Bhatgaon to Khopa (Kaskela) route of Surajpur at a cost of Rs 5 crore 36 lakh, construction of Hiradbury-Latori road from Sylphili College of Surajpur at a cost of 7 crore 95 lakh 1 thousand, 37 lakh Community health center at a cost of 28 thousand, construction of 10-bed isolation ward in Latori, construction of modern tehsil office building in Latori, district Surajpur at a cost of 71 lakh 12 thousand, of Satya Nagar in district Surajpur at a cost of Rs 2 crore 32 lakh 41 thousand.
