Child protection month will be organized from February 28 to March 31 in rural and urban areas of the district. During this period, 58,105 targeted children in the age group of 09 months to 05 years will be given Vitamin “A” supplements in the vaccination sessions organized in the district. In the district, 60,843 children in the age group of 06 months to 05 years will be given iron folic acid supplements twice a week and the children who have been left out of vaccination and those targeted for regular vaccination will be given BCG, Hepatitis-B, D.P. Will be immunized by applying T.T., O.P.V., P.C.V., Measles-Rubella and Pentavalent vaccines. In order to make the district malnutrition-free, the weight of children up to the age of one year and identification of highly malnourished children will be done by recruiting them in the nutritional rehabilitation centers of the concerned area operated in the district to improve their nutrition level.
