Collector Mr. Jitendra Kumar Shukla inspected the Anganwadi center of Gram Panchayat Kusmi of Berla development block yesterday. During this, he interacted with the children present in the centre. Took information from the mothers of the children present on the occasion about nutritious food, banana, egg, gram, jaggery etc. given to them. The mothers of the children present in Amba also expressed their satisfaction for the nutritious food being provided here. Here he saw the attendance of the children, distribution of breakfast, mid-day meal, milk, THR etc. to the children. The Collector inquired about the condition of malnourished children and instructed to check the weight, height etc. of the children from time to time. He also checked the quality of mid-day meal provided to the children. During this, instructions were given that cleanliness at the center, distribution of adequate amount of breakfast and mid-day meal to the children and other nutritious food items should be done on time and regularly. Instructions were also given to get malnourished children admitted to NRC. While inspecting the arrangements available at the centre, he said that apart from giving education to the children, he instructed to pay special attention to their health. Collector Mr. Shukla also checked the educational quality of the children during the inspection of the Anganwadi center and gave instructions to keep cleanliness and hygiene at the Anganwadi center.
