Collector Mr. Padum Singh Elma listened to the demands, complaints and problems of common citizens who came from far-flung villages including urban areas of the district on Monday. About 30 applications were received in the Janchoupal organized in the Drishti-meeting room of the Collectorate premises. During Janchoupal, Santosh Tiwari, a resident of Dholia village of Tehsil Bemetara, gave an application regarding the removal of encroachments in the village’s Gauthan, pond, government school and village street. Gitanjali Sahu, a resident of village Pipariya, applied for renewal of disability certificate. Mohit Yadav, a resident of Sondh village of Tehsil Berla, applied for payment of the amount of cow dung sale under Godhan Nyay Yojana. Gram Panchayat Nandal’s Sarpanch Chandrika Sahu gave an application regarding the ban on encroachment in the government land (Gothan) of the village. Rupa Gaikwad, a resident of village Bhurki, gave an application regarding the removal of the wire going from the top of the house. Similarly, allotment of occupied land in Janchoupal, providing social security pension, providing amount for toilet construction, renaming, demarcation, more electricity People applied for solving the problem of getting bills, providing benefits of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and other problems including financial assistance.
