Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, who is known for his aggression, on Wednesday, continuing his tirade against Centre, had hinted of going for a war on the paddy issue.
In a tweet he quoted Urdu poet Sahir Ludhyanvi saying “Hum Aman Chahte Hai Magar Zulm Ke Khilaf Gar Jung Lazmi Hai to Jung Hi Sahi (We want peace, but if war is needed against tyranny then let’s there be a war).”
It was a clear hint that through protest by Chhattisgarh Congress in national capital, he was waging a war and is going for a decisive fight with a never give up attitude.
On the other hand, state’s former chief minister and BJP’s national vice president Raman Singh reacting to Baghel’s tweet alleged that latter was trying to fool the innocent farmers of the state by false promise and charged that the incumbent CM was indulged in bullying politics.
Replying to Baghel in his own poetic style Raman twitted “Naye Khewaiya Kahin Ye Na Samjhe Nadi Ka Pani Utar Gaya Hai (The new sailor should not be under the misconception that the river is no longer in spate)”.
Raman through the couplet hinted that his party too is ready to give a befitting reply.
