Laxmikant Bansod, Balod. Tribal children of Singhola village of the tribal development block of the district are facing the indifferent attitude of the administration. About 30 children used to study in Anganwadi Center No. 1 and No. 3 of the village, but now these children have been forced to study in the sub-health center. This sub-health center is located in a room, in which 6 beds are installed, and there is neither a provision of drinking water nor electricity. Despite this, 30 children are forced to study there.
The Women and Child Development Department is unaware of this entire matter, while the children have to study in the health center. In the Anganwadi Center No. 3 of the village, the plaster of the roof has come off due to rain and water has started dripping, while the new building of Center No. 1 has been under construction for almost a year, but due to the indifference of the Gram Panchayat, it is still incomplete. Such incidents can be seen every day in the tribal development block because no officer here has time to go here and review the work being done. Due to this, many works are still incomplete, the brunt of which is being borne by the innocent.
The tribal development block falls under the mining area. Royalty worth billions of rupees is also received from mining but no responsible person pays attention to the development of children. Now it remains to be seen what action is taken in this whole matter and when the administration provides a new fully equipped building to the children.
In this entire matter, Collector Indrajit Singh Chandrawal said that instructions have been given to complete the incomplete building soon and the children will be shifted to a convenient building so that the tribal children do not face any problem.
