District level base committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of Collector Sushri Iffat Ara in the Collectorate assembly hall. Information about Aadhaar service was given through PPT by Mr. Anit Tiwari, Assistant Manager, UIDAI. Mr. Tiwari told that there are more than 37 Aadhaar registration centers established in the district where Aadhaar service is being provided, which is to be continuously monitored by the committee constituted in the district and according to Aadhaar Regulation 16(.), every Aadhaar card holder has to Collector Ms. Ara asked to update her Aadhaar card in 10 years. In this regard, the District Manager has organized camps at schools, colleges, gram panchayats, wards of urban areas, industrial institutions etc. to bring progress in district Aadhaar registration and updating work. Directed to register and update the Aadhaar of more and more people. E-District Manager Mr. Mohiteshwar Sahu told that right now Aadhaar registration and updating is being done by setting up camp in Municipality Surajpur and camp roster will be organized in other areas of the district. Necessary documents will have to be attached for Aadhaar registration. Required documents for new Aadhaar registration 1. Birth certificate of the child (in which the name of the child is written) 2.
