Chief Minister Participated in the General Assembly of the Kanwar-Painkra Community in Khallari
Announcement of Development Works Worth Rs 55 Lakhs
Raipur, April 10, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today attended the Tribal Kanwar-Painkra Samaj General Assembly and Annual Convention held in Khallari village of Mahasamund district. On this special occasion, representatives of the Kanwar Samaj warmly welcomed the Chief Minister with traditional tribal customs. The Chief Minister inaugurated the General Assembly by lighting a lamp in front of the statue of Maa Saraswati. On this occasion, the Chief Minister started his address with the slogan of Khallari Mai, Bharat Mata, Chhattisgarh Mahtari, Ram Janki Bhagwan and Kanwar Samaj. Expressing gratitude to the society, he prayed for the prosperity of the state by worshiping at Mata Khallari and Ram Janki Temple. Paying obeisance to the land of jungle satyagrahis, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that he has come to seek the blessings of all of you. On this occasion, the Chief Minister paid tribute to the martyrs of the Jungle Satyagraha and honored their families by presenting shawls and coconuts. On this occasion, he announced development works worth Rs 55 lakhs, which includes Rs 20 lakhs for the construction of a shed in the Ram-Janki temple complex, Rs 25 lakhs for the construction of a hostel for the Kanwar Samaj and Rs 10 lakhs for the construction of an all-facility toilet.
The Chief Minister said that President Draupadi Murmu is from the tribal society. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is constantly working for the welfare of the tribals. PM Janman Yojana and Dharti Aaba Gram Utkarsh Yojana have been started for the development and welfare of tribals, especially backward tribes. He appealed to the society to prioritize education and take steps towards de-addiction. Chief Minister Shri Sai called upon the youth of the society to become self-reliant by taking advantage of skill development and government schemes.
The Chief Minister informed that many development works have been done by our government in 15 months. Immediately after taking the oath, 1.8 million Pradhan Mantri Awas were approved, out of which 1.4 million houses have been completed. The Prime Minister got 3 lakh houses entered in a single day. 21 quintals of paddy per acre was purchased from the farmers and Rs 12 thousand crore was provided as the difference amount of the paddy price. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, 70 lakh women are being benefited. Those whose names have been missed will also be added. The Chief Minister also informed about the schemes being run for Tendu leaf collectors, Ramlala Darshan Yojana, and Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana. He said that our government is fulfilling Modi ji’s guarantee. He informed that Awas Plus Survey App has been launched, through which those who do not have houses can also get their names added in the survey. He said that our goal is to develop Chhattisgarh.
