In view of the upcoming Kharif season, various types of chemical fertilizers are being lifted from the committees by the farmers in the state. So far, 2.06 lakh tonnes of chemical fertilizers have been lifted by the farmers, which is 32 percent of the 6.45 lakh tonnes stored. The state has a target of distributing 13.70 lakh tonnes of chemical fertilizers in the Kharif season this year. Against which 6.45 lakh tonnes of fertilizers have been stored in cooperative and private sectors so far, which is 47 percent of the target. According to the information received, till now 3 lakh 58 thousand tonnes, urea, 01 lakh 4 thousand 743 tonnes of DAP, 33 thousand 412 tonnes of NPK, 23 thousand 253 tonnes of potash, one lakh 25 thousand 725 tonnes of superphosphate are in storage in the cooperative and private sector. . Till now, 01 lakh 18 thousand 88 tonnes of urea, 43 thousand 932 tonnes of DAP, 3278 tonnes of NPK, 6790 tonnes of potash and 33 thousand 598 tonnes of super phosphate have been distributed to the farmers. A total of 4 lakh 39 thousand 453 tonnes of different types of chemical fertilizers are available for distribution in the state. It may be mentioned here that till the same period last year, only 65 thousand 553 tonnes of chemical fertilizers were lifted by the farmers of the state, whereas this year 2 lakh 5 thousand 686 tonnes of fertilizers have been lifted, which is comparable to last year.
