Pension cases of government officers and employees retiring in Bastar division will now be resolved expeditiously. For this, all the departments have been trained by the Treasury Accounts and Pensions under the Finance Department. About 800 Drawing Disbursement Officers (DDOs) have been trained in Bastar division by Treasury Accounts and Pensions. It is noteworthy that the State Government has given instructions for speedy disposal of pending pension cases. Divisional Treasury Accounts and Pension Bastar Division’s Joint Director Shri Dheeraj Nashine has organized 10 pension training and redressal camps in 7 districts of the division throughout the fortnight. In the training camp, the subordinate employees of the drawing disbursing officers were trained about the difficulties faced while preparing the pension case and given guidance to reduce the chances of error being committed by the DDO. It was told by the trained staff and officers in the camp that they benefited immensely from this training and this is the first time in the division that the joint director himself went to every district and tehsil level and gave guidance in relation to resolving the pension case directly from the DDO. Gone. According to the intention of the government, the camp was organized immediately after every training to get the pending pension case resolved quickly. Due to the cooperation of the Withdrawal Disbursing Officers in these camps, the pension case pending for several days was resolved in the camp itself. Out of 247 pending cases, 108 pension cases were resolved. On 16th and 17th June, pension orders were issued in the camp itself for 14 pending pension cases of Koylibeda block in Kanker district. Remaining 6 cases were resolved from the district headquarters. In Kanker district, a total of 20 pension orders were issued online and distributed by the officials of the district administration.
