Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Minister Shri Amarjit Bhagat has directed to store ration items in the unreached villages of the state during the rainy season to provide ration to the ration card holders under the Public Distribution System. In this episode, he has given instructions to provide 4 months ration to the villagers before the rains in the dependent villages including Chunchuna, Pundag, villages without access to remote forests of Balrampur district. After the instructions of the Minister, the officers of the Food Department have started preparing to deliver ration items to the unreached gram panchayats and ashram villages of the state. The Food Department official said that so that ration material could be available for four months in village Chunchuna, Pundag, Pipardhaba, Charhu, ration material would be sent to CRPF’s Bhutahi camp. From where four months’ ration material will be distributed to the villagers simultaneously. It is worth mentioning that the Balrampur district administration team had reached Chunchuna Pundag without remote access, and under community policing, the civic action program was organized and necessary materials were distributed to the villagers.
