Under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, the meeting of the State Level Committee constituted for implementation of health grant through 15th Finance Commission was held at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan today. Under the 15th Finance Commission by the Government of India, a proposal of Rs 338.79 crore for the state has been approved. Chief Secretary Shri Jain has given instructions to prepare a detailed action plan in the direction of providing better health services in the state. Work will be done for strengthening, various reference centres, upgradation of health and wellness centers working in rural and urban areas, establishment of urban polyclinics for specialist medical assistance in urban areas, availability of specialist services. In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary Panchayat and Rural Development Department Smt. Renuji Pillay, Principal Secretary Health Dr. Maninder Kaur Dwivedi, Secretary Health and Family Welfare Ms. Shehla Nigar, Secretary Finance Smt.
