Forest and Climate Change Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar reviewed the work being done under CAMPA in Balodabazar Forest Division through video conferencing. During this, he gave instructions to complete the incomplete works expeditiously. He was accompanied by Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Forest Force Chief Shri Rakesh Chaturvedi, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Development and Planning) Shri Tapesh Jha, Conservator of Forests (Campa) Shri Venkatachalam, Chief Conservator of Forest Shri J.R. Nayak and other officers were present. Forest Divisional Officer Balodabazar Shri K. R. Carpenter, Deputy Divisional Officer Shri Anand Kudaria and other officers joined Balodabazar Forest Divisional Officer’s office through video conferencing. These works include narva development, plantation compensation, pond construction work, bamboo bhirra cleaning work, water hold construction work, lantana eradication work, check dam work, forest road construction, fire protection work, culvert construction, housing building construction etc. While reviewing these works, Forest Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar directed to complete the incomplete works expeditiously. He asked to pay the bills related to these works on time. During review it was stated that some approved works have not started due to increase in the rate of materials. Minister Shri Akbar gave instructions to re-tender for these works. Forest Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar directed the Chief Conservator of Forests to review the incomplete works and apprise them about it.
