Forest and Climate Change Minister, Shri Mohammad Akbar, in view of the Corona transition, today discussed with the representatives of retail vegetable and fish traders of Kawardha through virtual video conferencing and gave necessary directions to the higher officials. Along with this, necessary suggestions were also taken from the traders in relation to keeping the city safe from corona infection. Forest Minister Shri Akbar was presented by vegetable traders Shankar Patel, Shakeel Ahmed, Mannu Thakur and Hari Tondre and Rajesh Kesharwani, Gayatri Joshi, Sanjeev Kurre. I requested the retail vegetable vendors to put them in the place. He told that everyone’s business has been affected in the lockdown. We are able to run our business only by doing business around the new market, we have to face a lot of problems due to transfer of business elsewhere. At present, at the place where the business of vegetable and fish traders is going on, at present, send an order to establish it at the same place. He also directed that the corona infection is increasing continuously. Keeping this in mind, it was also asked to follow the Corona Guidelines issued by the State Government, so that our city remains away from Corona infection. Keep the essentials of social distancing, masks, sanitizers and try to do their business in a safe way. Fish merchants asked for shop in the new market, fish businessmen Mukesh Mallah and Dinanath Mallah requested the cabinet minister and said that we are all from the Mallah caste. . Our basic business is fish farming, but due to the lack of allotment of shop in the new market, we are facing a lot of difficulties in doing business. If the shop in the new market complex is duly allotted, then our business will become very good. Taking immediate cognizance of their demands, the Minister directed Chief Municipal Officer Naresh Verma to take action as per rules. Instructions were also given to inform after completion of the proceedings. Demanded to set up a temporary vegetable market in the agricultural produce market, the representatives of the vegetable traders said that during the corona transition, the business is affected due to the placement of retail vegetable traders at different places. Till the infection is less, it should be allowed to be applied at the place. In the event of increasing corona, all the traders should be accommodated in the old agricultural produce market, so that all of us can do business at one place. While directing the collector, Shri Akbar said that for temporary planting of vegetables in the agricultural produce market, the signed applications should be obtained from the vegetable traders and the proposal should be prepared and sent to the state government. After getting the consent, the vegetable traders should be shifted to the market so that their business can run smoothly. The traders requested the minister to stop the temporary interference. Fee recovery work is done, which has been demanded to be closed. He requested the minister that the economic condition of all classes has deteriorated during the Corona transition period. In such a situation, the temporary intervention recovery work should be stopped. While directing the concerned officer, he said that a resolution should be passed in the council to stop the temporary encroachment fee collection going on in the urban area and cancel the contract of the contractor concerned, so that people can get relief.
