To test the preparation for corona vaccination in Raipur, a dry run was organized at the Saraswati Primary School in Old Basti today. Health Minister Shri T.S. Singhdev inspected it and inquired about the problems encountered in the meantime. Health officials told them that the first to get the vaccine, registration was done after seeing their identity card. After this, they are being allowed to leave the center after being kept under observation for half an hour in a separate chamber after being put into the vaccination room.
The Health Minister spoke to Mitanin involved in the dry run. He instructed the officers to complete the entire process accurately. On this occasion, Chief Medical and Health Officer Mrs. Meera Baghel and other officers of Health Department were present. In the dry run, 28 mittanins were registered. It is noteworthy that a dry run of corona vaccination was conducted in seven districts of the state today. These mockdrills were done in Raipur, Sarguja, Durg, Bilaspur, Rajnandgaon, Bastar and Gorella-Pendra-Marwahi districts.
Director of National Health Mission, Dr. Priyanka Shukla also reached the vaccination center today and inspected the dry run and gave necessary instructions. The objective of this mockdryl was to test cold chain management, supply, storage and logistics of the vaccine as well as preparations for those arriving at the vaccination site, their entry, registration, vaccination and observation. In the first phase, two lakh 34 thousand people engaged in healthcare will be vaccinated.
