Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal has given a big statement on the death of two children after vaccination in Kota region. He clarified that these children did not die due to vaccination, but due to other reasons. Giving information, the minister said that the same type of injection was given to 8 children, out of which 6 children are completely healthy. One of the two children died in the evening of the same day and the other the next day. Based on verbal information received from the doctors, the Health Minister said that a state-level team has been formed to investigate the real cause of death and the official report is awaited.
The Health Minister has also advised the public to be cautious about swine flu. He said that there are no specific symptoms of this disease, so it is important to get tested immediately on symptoms like fever, cold, and body ache. Adequate kits and medicines are available in the state for testing swine flu, and isolation wards have already been prepared in various hospitals of the state. The minister also assured that the government is fully prepared to deal with swine flu and the health staff is working actively so that there is no shortage of any kind.
